I am a time series econometrician, currently living in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I am not a Kazakhi though! What am I doing here? Well, I myself also ask this question too, but I don't have a good answer. One part of the answer is related to my not so ordinary life, I guess.

The year was 1965 and I am born in a in a small village, called Bahadirli located in the in the city of Adana in south Turkey.
