International Partners at KIMEP

Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Latvia

In April of 2006, Dr. Stevens, Director, and Ms. Elmira Suleimanova, International Officer at the International Relations Office, happily welcomed Ms. Evita Lukina, Director of International Affairs, and Ms. Gita Grinberga, Director of Admissions and Alumni Affairs, at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) in Riga, Latvia, to KIMEP, Almaty, and Kazakhstan. Since the inception of our student exchange program with the SSE in Fall 2005, it was the first time for KIMEP to host representatives of our partner institution in Latvia who came to KIMEP to share the information about their institution and to discuss possibilities for further cooperation and long-term partnership. Ms. Lukina and Ms. Grinberga met with KIMEP administrators and senior faculty members, visited KIMEP campus, and toured different points of interest in Almaty.
