Program
The
Preparatory Program helps students to prepare for university entrance
exams at both the Bachelor and Masters levels.
Our faculty provides expert instruction in all the core disciplines
tested on entrance exams so you can focus your studies, and increase your
proficiency, in all disciplines or just ones matching your needs.
The program also develops the skills and knowledge students need to
succeed once they begin their degree program studies.
Course length and meeting times are flexible so you can prepare for
exams while still attending your regular daytime classes or your daytime

Structure
All
courses are intended for group study.
Class size is typically kept low (12-15 students) to ensure that
instructors can provide individual attention to each student.
Classes are offered based on student demand. Duration
of courses ranges in length from two-weeks of intensive preparation (just
prior to examination dates) to programs that are spread over ten weeks.
All courses are structured to ensure optimal preparation for exam
dates. Number of contact
hours ranges from 25 to 40 hours depending upon the requirements of the

and Registration
Anyone
interesting in improving their score on bachelors or masters level entry
exams is welcome to enroll in the Preparatory Program. Application
and registration forms are available from the Preparatory Programs office.

Faculty
Undergraduate Program: Courses are
taught by experienced teachers from secondary educational institutions who
are experts in their disciplines and in many cases, authors of the
Standard Complex Tests. These education leaders are invited to teach in the
Preparatory Program on the recommendation of the City Teachers Improvement
Institute. Graduate
Program: Faculty for this program includes teachers and lecturers and some
of KIMEP’s best graduates. College

WLP Preparatory Courses in English Our
Preparatory Courses are helpful to those who are going to enter KIMEP and
sit for the Entrance Test in English. Our
instructors are qualified in the ways to get students to improve their
knowledge in order to join Bachelors’ or Masters’ Program at KIMEP. The
Courses provide a comprehensive approach to the language study. It is also
designed to develop grammar and reading skills.
A
thorough scheduling, so that secondary students could manage both school
and KIMEP classes, is being worked out.
Classes
are scheduled for the day time. English
for Applicants to the Bachelors’ and Masters’. Classes
are 3 times a week per 2 academic hours.

fee is 11000 tenge. 2
week intensive course prior to the 1st intake. Classes
are to be delivered per 3 academic hours (10 classes) The
