Criminal law is a fundamental legal discipline and an essential component of a unified legal system of a country. The successful and effective work of law enforcement bodies and judicial authorities depend on the level of knowledge of its specialists. Knowledge of criminal law for such specialists is the absolute necessity. Therefore, it is one of the main academic disciplines for students with law specialization. The course will cover the following topics: (1) Basics of the General Part of the Criminal Code, (2) Characteristics of the crimes specified in the Special Part of the Criminal Code.
