| REQUIREMENTS | Computer Science Faculty Position Description KIMEP University invites applications for faculty positions (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) in Computer Science. The bachelor program in Computer Science is a newly created program that will admit its first students in the 2024-2025 academic year. KIMEP University is the most prestigious and dynamic university in Kazakhstan and Central Asia and has a growing student body. Faculty are expected to teach various courses in the Computer Science program as well as some elective courses for the Business Information Systems program. The appointment will start in Fall 2024 (August, 2024). Responsibilities involve teaching, research, and service. Qualifications Applicants must have earned a PhD. In Computer Science or Software Engineering from an accredited institution and/or working as a faculty in such accredited schools, and having demonstrated consistent and good quality of scholarship published in SCI-SSCI and Scopus Q1-Q2 ranked journals. Candidates will be expected to publish in such journals. The teaching load for this position will be 3 courses (9 hours) per academic semester. |
