| REQUIREMENTS | The KIMEP Alumni Endowment Fund, created by alumni, is announcing the opening of an Executive Director position effective from June 27, 2024. This role offers full-time employment with flexible work schedule. Responsibilities include the implementation of the "Social Elevator" educational grants program and the organizational development of the Fund. Job Title: Executive Director, KIMEP Alumni Endowment Fund (KAEF) Opportunity Highlights: • Develop one of Kazakhstan’s pioneering university endowments. • Build a network with leading business executives and influential figures in Kazakhstan. • Advance ESG initiatives and promote social responsibility across the nation. • Work directly with consultants and partners from McKinsey, a world leader in consulting. Key Responsibilities: • Execute the strategic plan of the fund. • Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the fund. • Liaise with partners, sponsors, and government entities. • Ensure financial sustainability and goal achievement. • Engage in active fundraising and grant implementation. • Foster relationships with KIMEP University. • Organize and host events. • Manage social media communications and website maintenance. • Represent the fund at industry-related events. |
| DUTIES | Candidate Profile: • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally from KIMEP University, with a focus on Management, Economics, or Social Sciences. • Minimum of three years in a leadership role. • Proven track record in fundraising and networking. • Exceptional communication and managerial skills. • Fluent in English, with residency in Almaty or ability to travel frequently.
