REQUIREMENTS | We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager (SMM) to join our team at the British Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan. As an SMM, you will be responsible for managing our social media communications across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and our website. This is a remote position, but the candidate must be based in Kazakhstan. Proficient in English and Russian/Kazakh, with strong written and verbal communication skills. 2. Proven experience in managing social media platforms for organizations, preferably in a similar industry or chamber of commerce. 3. Knowledge of social media management tools and analytics platforms. 4. Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities, with a passion for storytelling and brand building. 5. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. 6. Pursuing accreditation or certification in a related field (e.g., social media marketing, digital communications) is desirable. DUTIES | Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance the Chamber's online presence and engagement. 2. Create and curate compelling content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and the Chamber's website, including posts, articles, and multimedia materials. 3. Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement. 4. Engage with our audience, respond to inquiries, and foster relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders. 5. Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and optimize strategies. 6. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to align social media efforts with overall organizational goals. 7. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media marketing. |
