| DUTIES | About the Role: We’re on a mission to make science engaging, accessible, and fun for young readers (ages 8+ and 12+). As Editor-Translator, you'll help bring scientific ideas to life for kids across the UK, US, and Australia. What You Will Do: * Translate scientific and educational articles (from Russian into English) while adapting them for a young audience * Localise content for UK, US, and Australian readers * Edit and proofread English-language texts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and age-appropriate tone * Work closely with writers, illustrators, and editors to maintain a consistent style and voice * Fact-check translated materials to uphold scientific credibility * Help craft playful, engaging headlines, captions, and sidebars |
