| REQUIREMENTS | We are looking for an intern for the role of Security Champion within development teams (DWH and AI products). What matters: - understanding how code is written within a team — and where risks emerge in that code - helping teams think about security before an issue becomes an incident - being someone who understands both development and security What you will do: - participate in development alongside the team — write code, conduct code reviews - identify potential security issues during the code review process - help the team analyze vulnerabilities: what they are, why they are dangerous, and how to fix them; implement security bug fixes - participate in threat modeling for new features and services - assist in implementing static application security testing (SAST) tools and - software composition analysis (SCA), and help develop AI-driven security code review practices - document security agreements and ensure their implementation As you grow: - independently conduct threat modeling sessions - propose improvements to development processes from a security perspective - help build an internal culture of secure development |
| DUTIES | Requirements: - 4th-year student (or recent graduate) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - coding experience — Java is a strong plus - basic understanding of how web applications and APIs work - ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms to colleagues who do not deal with security daily - not afraid to say “something seems off here,” even if you’re not yet sure what exactly Nice to have: - familiarity with common vulnerability classes (e.g., OWASP Top 10, at least at a high level) - awareness of STRIDE or other threat modeling frameworks - participation in CTF competitions or experience reading write-ups - certifications from TryHackMe, Hack The Box Academy, or PortSwigger Academy |
