Key Competencies Required 1. Fluent business English (written and oral) — strong communication with international partners. 2. Proactive outreach and negotiation skills — ability to build partnerships from scratch. 3. Market awareness — understanding of YouTube ecosystem, digital content trends, and media distribution. 4. Structured thinking and prioritization — quickly assess partner value and filter low-potential leads. 5. Self-driven and organized — comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. 6. Job Description As a BDM, you will drive Genesis CSP’s expansion into international content markets. You’ll be responsible for developing partnerships with content owners, studios, distributors, and regional content scouts, while building a steady pipeline of films, TV series, and other long-form content for distribution. A key part of the role is supporting the launch and growth of new YouTube channels dedicated to films and series — from sourcing and acquiring content to coordinating its preparation, localization, and publishing. Your work will directly contribute to the growth of Genesis CSP’s international channel network. Key Responsibilities 1. Partner Network Development Identify and engage with content production companies, studios, distributors, broadcasters, and other rights holders across key international regions. Build long-term partnerships to support the acquisition and distribution of film and TV content. 2. Regional Content Scout Coordination Establish and manage relationships with local content scouts and partners to ensure a steady pipeline of relevant films, TV series, and other video content. 3. Launch of Film & TV Channel Initiatives Participate in the launch and development of new YouTube channels focused on films, TV series, and other longform entertainment content. Responsibilities within this area: • Identify content opportunities and source relevant film and TV catalogs. • Communicate with rights holders, studios, distributors, and other content partners. Genesis CSP | Business Development Manager • Build and maintain a content pipeline for new and existing channels. • Support content selection based on channel strategy, target audience, and market potential. • Coordinate the acquisition and delivery of content required to populate channels. • Work with internal teams to prepare content for localization, dubbing, packaging, and publishing. • Support the ongoing expansion of channel catalogs and identify opportunities for new channel launches. 4. Content Delivery Coordination Collaborate with internal teams, including content, dubbing, localization, operations, and analytics, to ensure the smooth handoff, preparation, and publishing of acquired content. 5. Workflow Improvement & Optimization Continuously improve content sourcing and partnership processes through partner feedback, database maintenance, pipeline management, and analysis of content acquisition performance. |
