Description
This course is intended for future managers who require knowledge on how to motivate people, how to manage groups and use appropriate leadership styles. It is modeled as an integrated framework that consists of lectures and training.
Outcomes
At the end of the course, students should be able to do the following: KNOWLEDGE: Students will have an understanding of The motivation of employees in modern and dynamic organizations The nature of leadership and ethical leadership Various styles of leadership The cultural factors influencing leadership in different parts of the world SKILLS: Students will learn to Adapt management style to different people and situations Use leadership skills to resolve communication problems Create motivating environment for employees Resolve conflicts in organizational settings APPLICATION ABILITIES: Students will be able to Apply leadership skills, ideas and principles that will allow to function more effectively ‘Think globally and act locally’ to resolve organizational problems Develop and lead groups to achieve goals and objectives Teaching methodology and course learning activities Lectures by professor Presentations by students Individual home assignments Case studies and class discussions Written in-class closed-books exams
