Central Asia Business

The Central Asia Business (CAB) was established in 2005 with three founders involved in the project of study business management in Central Asia. The team duplicated the number with international staff of researchers with different backgrounds and expertise in 2006.

Central Asia Business is coordinated by the Department of Marketing and Management of the Bang College of Business, at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research.

CAB is the only and most representative group of international academics, researchers and practitioners in Business working in active and with real presence in Central Asia. All the members have strong experience, relations and networks with the most important companies in Eurasia, Central Asia and Caspian regions. This allows the team not only to have a very in deep knowledge of management in Central Asian organizations but large amount of data with concrete in live experience.

CAB disseminates research on Central Asia Business through The Central Asia Business Journal, twice a year.

The Central Asia Business considers that hard data on Business practices and high quality research projects are the only useful tools for practitioners, academics and policy makers interested on the region.

In an hybrid world of complex relationships between people, places, organizations and markets, the Central Asian Business (CAB) thinks that a strong opportunity to improve and help Central Asia people and organizations is through a non stereotyped understanding of Central Asian societies.
