Non credit internship for MBA students (entry year: 2003-2004)

In the MBA program, many students enter KIMEP without any working experience whereas major business schools require at least 2-3 years of working experience. To add value to MBA students’ time spent in KIMEP, as well as, to position graduates of Bang College of Business (BCB) of KIMEP with practical skills training, students are given an internship program.  Students are allowed to undertake this training in any business area they choose.

Pursuant to the 2003 - 2004 KIMEP catalog, all MBA students must complete a Summer Internship Program, or obtain equivalent job experience, as a requirement for graduation. 

The internship for students enrolled in 2003-2004 KIMEP MBA has these characteristics:

• No credits are given for internship; therefore students do not pay any fees to KIMEP.
• The period of internship should be of 4 - 6 weeks (or 160-240 working hours)

 In order to fulfill internship requirements, students are required to: 

·        pass internship within required period,

·        submit the internship report during 15 days after finishing internship,

·        submit the confirmation letter from the employer,

·        submit evaluation/recommendation of the employer.

After fulfillment of the internship requirements, students will get an indication in their scrolls that they successfully completed the required internship during their program in KIMEP.
