Department of Accounting

The department offers B.Sc. and MBA degrees with major in Accounting and minors in other fields. The field of Accountancy is a broad academic discipline encompassing many specialty areas like financial accounting, management and cost accounting, auditing, financial statement analysis. In a modern business world Accounting is the basis for managing enterprises of both profit and non-for-profit orientation. It is the area of practical and theoretical knowledge that is responsible for assuring transparent, accountable and ethical conduct of business. Our major goal is to teach our students best professional and ethical practices in the related areas of Accounting.
